I agree that the fawn response is likely learned and expected from society, I also wonder if an element of it is biding time to gain a better perspective of the level of danger/creep before being more forceful, as going straight to rage/harsh words in some instances may create a scenario where said creep feels the need to teach you a lesson for shaming him in public. But later when no one else is around to protect you. That’s a concern of mine anyway!

So true Tiff, fawn seems like a smart response in many cases. I could probably do with more fawn in some cases where I fire back before sussing the situation more thoroughly haha
